Jasmine Day

Jasmine Day and I began corresponding years ago because of our common interest in mummies. She has since received a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology from the University of Western Australia and published The Mummy's Curse with Routledge. She travels extensively and lectures in Egyptology. Here she is pictured with her fiance Garry Johnstone. I finally met Jasmine a few years ago on one of her visits to the States. Until then we had only e-mailed, and she used to sign off, "Happy Wrappings!"
