Dr. Seuss

My favorite holiday television special is the 1966 classic* How the Grinch Stole Christmas! by Dr. Seuss (1904-1991), whose full name was Theodor Seuss Geisel. I specifically like the part where the grinch gets his idea and his hair curls! Early in his career, Ted Geisel was a political cartoonist. It was later that he published 44 children's books. The Grinch is 14th in the list and Geisel is shown working on it in 1957.
*Not to be confused with the awful Jim Carrey remake of 2000.
