Happy Halloween!
What better day than Halloween to get acquainted with "bog bodies," if you aren't already. These sacrificial victims' bodies have been found in the peat bogs of Europe and have been mistaken for modern murder victims because they are so remarkably preserved (by the tannin in the peat). You are looking into the face of Tollund Man who lived in the Iron Age and still has fingerprints.
