Manuscript moggy*
The government worker had this papers set in front of him, ready for his task. Along came his friendly yet intrusive feline, leaving pawprints across his work. Sound familiar? Except that this happened on March 11, 1445 and the proof was discovered on the pages of the 568-year-old manuscript by a medievalist!
*A moggy is British informal for a cat.
