
When all that
uncharacteristic snow hit Seattle last month, my brother-in-law
Nicholas Heilweil captured some weird images in the yard. He writes,
"After our recent snow storm, we had snow piled up on the edges of branches and things and as it would warm and freeze, the snow would slowly droop off the edge and become rope-like but not break off." You can see more of his photography
