Sculpture by Tim Hawkinson

I saw this sculpture at the urging of Jody Arlington, who brought me to the Hirshhorn Museum in 2001. It is only a couple of inches tall and would have piqued my interest--as do some of the artist's more anatomical pieces--even if I didn't know that Tim Hawkinson crafted it from his own fingernail clippings!
