Hi Chris,
ReplyDeleteMy name's Kevin -- I happened onto your blog when I was searching for the meaning of the name "Ubwuzu". In December I made a donation to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund to adopt an infant mountain gorilla -- and I learned that it was Ubwuzu. I guess we are both adoptive parents to the little guy. Isn't he great?
As soon as I find out what the name means I'll let you know.
best,
Kevin
p.s. this is a great site you've got here.
I've also adopted Ubwuzu, from Spain
ReplyDeleteUbwuzu was also adopted for me on Christmas.. I guess that kinda makes us all related.. And last year I got a Silverback for Christmas.. Gicurasi.. And in 2013 I'm taking my daughter and we are going to Karisoke to see the gorillas..
ReplyDeleteIt's now 2015 and I too adopted UBWUZU back in 2009 through Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. I googled today to see about an update.
