Frozen reindeer
One of the more ghoulish photos I've added to Quigley's cabinet is this image I just found of a reindeer that froze to death standing up and was scavenged as it thawed. Fascinating. I found it while searching for a photo I've seen of a woman who died standing up, against a wall in about 1940, possibly in Germany. I remembered it when I saw this episode of CSI the other night.
